Terms of Service
Last updated: June 12, 2026
1. Service Overview
Mowtogether ("we", "us", or "our") provides a free-to-play, multiplayer online lawn-mowing game and related features (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities
To use the Service, you agree to:
- Be at least 13 years old, and at least 18 years old (or have a parent or guardian's consent) to make any purchase.
- Play as a guest, or optionally sign in with Google to save your progress across devices.
- Safeguard your account and not share your credentials or access.
- Provide accurate information and not impersonate others or choose abusive usernames.
- Not attempt to cheat, exploit, automate, reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the Service or other players.
3. Purchases and Virtual Currency
The Service may offer in-game credits and other virtual items ("Virtual Currency"). Virtual Currency has no monetary value, is not redeemable for cash, and is licensed to you for use within the Service only. Purchases are processed securely by our third-party payment provider; we never receive or store your full payment card details.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or the rights of others.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or post hateful, fraudulent, or deceptive content (including in chat).
- Cheat, exploit bugs, use unauthorized third-party software, or gain unfair advantage.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or access non-public parts of the Service, or disrupt its operation or other players.
5. Your Content
You are responsible for content you submit, such as your username and chat messages. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service (for example, showing chat to other players). You retain ownership of your content, subject to applicable law.
6. Service Availability and Changes
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including gameplay, economy, or features, at any time and without liability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and progress or Virtual Currency may be reset, adjusted, or lost.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers, including Google (optional sign-in) and Stripe (payment processing). Your use of those providers is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or applicable law, if your use poses a security, legal, or operational risk, or as required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
9. Intellectual Property
Except for content you own, all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service — including its software, artwork, branding, and the Mowtogether name and logo — are owned by us or our licensors.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates and licensors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, Virtual Currency, or progress, arising out of or relating to the Service. To the extent any liability is not legally excludable, our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD $50.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mowtogether and its officers, employees, affiliates, and licensors from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Binding Arbitration; Class Action Waiver
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court where eligible. The arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable rules and shall be seated in the State of Texas.
You and Mowtogether each waive the right to a trial by jury and agree that any proceeding will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative action. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the arbitration section above, the exclusive venue for any permitted court proceeding shall be the state and federal courts located in Texas.
14. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and the "Last updated" date revised. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
