1. Introduction

Mowtogether ("we", "us", or "our") operates a multiplayer online lawn-mowing game (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains the limited information involved in running the Service. In short: we do not collect personal data for advertising, profiling, or tracking, and we do not sell your information.

We don't collect or sell personal data. You can play entirely as a guest with no account. We use no advertising or third-party tracking. The only information we store is the minimum needed to run the game and, if you choose to sign in, to save your progress.

2. Information We Store

The Service stores only what's needed to function:

Gameplay data: a username you choose and your in-game progress (credits, owned mowers, upgrades, trophies, and contract history).
Chat messages: messages you send in-game, which are shown to other players and kept briefly as recent history.
Account reference (if you sign in): a Google account identifier and email used to link your saved progress.

We do not collect analytics, behavioral tracking, advertising identifiers, precise location, or any sensitive personal information. Guests are not required to provide any personal information at all.

3. How We Use Information

We use the limited information above solely to:

Run multiplayer gameplay, including showing players, chat, and leaderboards.
Save and restore your progress if you are signed in.
Process purchases of in-game credits.
Keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.

4. Authentication and Google Sign-In (Optional)

Signing in is optional. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive limited account information (such as your name, email address, and a profile identifier) for authentication and to link your saved progress.

Google API Limited Use Disclosure: Mowtogether's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account permissions page.

5. Payments

Purchases of in-game credits are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your payment details directly under its own privacy policy — we never receive or store your full payment card information.

6. Cookies

If you sign in, we use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies. Guests can play without any login cookie.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share the limited data described above only with the providers needed to run the Service — Google (if you choose to sign in) and Stripe (to process payments) — or where required by law or legal process.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your saved progress while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us, subject to any records we must keep for legal or accounting purposes (such as payment records). Recent chat history is automatically rotated out over time.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. You must be at least 18 (or have a parent or guardian's consent) to make purchases. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and the "Last updated" date revised. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
